Auenhütte
A hotel that didn’t want to be just another mountain hotel, but a place entirely dedicated to those who love spending their time in the great outdoors. It is precisely this approach that characterizes the Auenhütte in the Kleinwalsertal. Since 2011, the property has been run by Tanja and Christoph Bantel, becoming a true hub for sports enthusiasts.
This is where skiing, snowboarding, climbing, mountain biking, and the modern Alpine lifestyle come together. Its location at the foot of the Ifen makes the Auenhütte the ideal starting point for mountain adventures and sporting activities. The property also features cosy rooms with a touch of style, an on-site equipment shop, and the Laubela as a meeting place for a break.
It is precisely this combination that gives the Auenhütte its unique character: informal, sporty, and set against the backdrop of the Vorarlberg Alps. Regular guests affectionately call it their “home base.” A term that captures quite well what makes this place special: arriving, leaving, returning.
